Gladiator Bot v0.91 released...
- no limitations.
- Linux-i386 binaries included
- several other things you can read about in the readme included with the bot
You can still use your old .aas files.
However if you want bots that use the grapple hook in CTF you have to re-aas your maps.
The Gladiator
Bot v0.91 is now available from the download page. Click
here for a quick download.
This new version does not work with the released v0.9 game source code. The new
game source for v0.9 will probably be available in a few days.

Bot limitations...
As you probably noticed the bot has some limitations:
- 4 bots are allowed in the maps q2dm1, q2dm2, q2dm3, q2dm8 and ztn2dm1,2,3,4,5,6.
- 6 bots in the CTF maps q2ctf1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8.
- 256 bots in sewer64.
- 1 bot in all other maps.
Also you are not allowed to modify the bot characters.
This because we are looking into incorporating the Gladiator bot into a commercial product.
There are still several options to investigate. We will keep you posted.

Gladiator Bot v0.9 released...
Finally! The next version is out!
Now you can play every map you want. Also support for the following mods has been added:
- Xatrix mission pack 1 "The Reckoning"
- Rogue mission pack 2 "Ground Zero"
- Rocket Arena 2
- Capture The Flag (CTF)
And much more!!! Read the readme for all the details.
Also a new version of WinBSPC has been bundled with the bot as well.
NOTE: The new bot (v0.9) does NOT work with maps converted with older versions of
WinBSPC. Use WinBSPC v1.1 shipped with the latest bot. For the whole story read this.
Here is a
list of maps tested for problems with this bot. Although we have been
pretty thorough we might missed some errors.
Please let us know if you find additional errors.

Gladiator Bot Beta Test Server...
What?
One or two days a week we want a server up and running with the most recent version of
the bot. We will probably change from CTF to teamplay to RA to whatever so you can
experience all aspects of the bot.
Why?
We wanted a different, a more "active" way of keeping you guys updated on the progress
of the bot.We figured that this is more fun then just publishing another dull text about
the latest fixes etc. And besides that it is a great way to test the bot in the real world
with real people.
After playing you could drop us a line with your
remarks and/or suggestions so we can work on that for the next versions.
